Acro won a police tender for the Acro-SET, its flagship product, and in addition to another order from the UK.

Israel, October 14, 2009, Acro Inc. (OTC BB:ACRI) received an official order for a few hundreds units of the Acro-SET that will be used by a state police. In addition, a scientific branch of the UK Ministry of Defense has ordered about 100 units of Acro products, including the Acro-SET and Acro-CHET, for official quality testing and evaluation.

"These orders, which add to recent successful marketing efforts in the USA, reflect strong interest in Arcos products, expending the number of our customer countries. The recent orders give us strong indications of the significance our products have in the homeland security market" said Gadi Aner, Arcos CEO. "We are very pleased with the British order because it is the first time that such a formal test is conducted in the UK with our products".
The Acro-SET is a sensitive, rapid and reliable kit for field detection and identification of trace explosives. Weighing about one quarter of a pound, this kit contains the Acro-PET, which detects improvised explosives, such as TATP, and the Acro-NET, which detects the entire range of the nitro explosives, including all conventional explosives as well as the improvised ammonium nitrate, ANFO and urea nitrate. Conveniently packed in a belt pouch, the Acro-SET is, in effect, a portable, inexpensive micro-laboratory for identification of all explosives by any law enforcement personnel.
